True feminism is something rarely seen today, and is the belief that all people are equal, regardless of sex. Modern feminism is when a woman thinks she's better than men because she has a vagina.
1) True feminism - "I'm a feminist because I believe that women should be given equal rights to men."
2) Modern feminism - "I'm a feminist because females are superior to men and men are here to serve women."

Feminism is a movement started by old faggot hags on their period.
Feminists strive for dominance, not equality.
"DID YOU JUST LOOK AT ME?!"
"Uh..Yeah...So?"
"YOU'RE A RAPIST! I'M CALLING THE POLICE!"

Here's the problems defining feminism:

1. The definition is old as fuck and if you think the meanings of words don't change over time or vary from culture to culture then you're delusional, and using an appeal to definition fallacy.

2. Feminism is a movement, and as with all movements their goals change over time.

In short, the current dictionary definition is unreliable. Modern feminists campaign for "safe spaces" (spaces in which free speech is shit on, sometimes segregated by race and gender), an end to "man-spreading". More radicals will call for things such as national castration day and shipping of all men to concentration camps. If you identify as a feminist, and you do not believe in the false victim narratives, the concepts of patriarchy, toxic masculinity and internalised misogyny, then my question to you is why on earth would you tie yourself to a movement that by in large does. Feminism does not equal equality, it's simply a vehicle towards it; unfortunately, the vehicle bounced right off the metaphorical wall of equality and got launched so far back that the driver decided to say "fuck it" and reverse as far as they could. If you wish to be someone who believes in equality without being tied down to a movement so incompetent that they believe that the gender wage gap is down to sexism, I suggest you look into egalitarianism.
What a surprise, that teacher force feeding those young girls identity politics and a victim narrative bigger than Kim Kardashians ass is a big advocate for feminism

Feminism has a diversion of meanings
A long time ago it was meant for the rights of women, being able to vote and the ability to own land.
Very quickly, though, once the rights were gained, the feminists went to getting against using masculine pronouns to tell about a group of people that could be male or female.
Those 2 were very good examples of feminism.
Though then, feminism started becoming something different. Instead of changing "he" to "them" or alike, it was then turned into "she".
Alot of feminism was then women opposing men, women deciding that they were superior to males and they were better and more perfect in many ways.
Neither is true. Women=Humans and Men=Humans. Neither have a superiority to eachother.

From the start, it was going against sexism. Now, most feminism is becoming sexism itself.
Real feminism includes both men and women, also including myself.
I believe that men and women are equal and should not be subject to sexual descrimination.
Many of the definitions on here you may see is greatly biased, as the people for feminism only focus on the good; the thought that feminism is against all types of stereotype "ism's", and the people against, only focus on examples like Germaine Greer who is by far a fake and sexist feminist, who denounces all men to be subhuman, inferiors and rapists.

Feminism in general is a great view of humanity in my opinion, but many hurt the philosophie's reputation by turning the good
A True Feminist would say that Women and men are equal, they shouldn't be sexually torn apart in any ways
Sexist feminists would say that all gender neutral pronouns should be said using feminine pronouns
Actual example:
Sexist male: Women are shit
True feminist female: No, women are equal. Sexism is bad. Don't be like that
Another example
Sexist male: Women are shit
Sexist feminist female: No, women are the best and men are shit.
Another example
Feminism believing male: Men and women are equal
Sexist feminist female: No, women are not equal to men. Men are inferior.

The TRUE meaning of feminism was the movement that encouraged gender equality. The face of feminism today is not at all how it is supposed to be. Feminists can be of any gender. But in todays society, female feminists reject male feminists because they just "dont get it". Todays feminism has turned to the wrong direction. It seems that most of their movement is anti-male and pro-female. They are even against people who arent feminists. This is not what it was once before.

A TRUE feminist would accept anyone, even if they are against what they believe. A TRUE feminist would not push their belief onto others. A TRUE feminist can be of ALL genders. A TRUE feminist would fight for equality for EVERYONE. A TRUE feminist would not degrade another human being.

The word "feminism" was not made from and for only females. Just look up who created the word and what it was supposed to be used for.

The things feminism fight:
Sexism (which can be expressed by all genders)
Racism
Anti-LGBTQ
Pro-male
Pro-female
Harrassment (in all shapes and form)
Rape (for all genders)
Shaming (body, career, physical health, mental health etc.)
Pedophiles
And much more

DO NOT oppose feminism because of what it has become today. Those people are NOT feminists. They are fighting wrong fights. If you want equality for ALL, you are a feminist. But do not stoop to the levels to the point where you are degrading the name itself by going against what it rightfully was.
The feminism movement has changed for the worse.

The singular theory and belief that women within the western world need a system to prop them up and give them equality on every issue from social reform to political placement. This theory ignores the vast amount of information and evidence that every issue it brings up is primarily based around a choice that a woman makes compared to that of their male counterparts.

The movement contains a vast variety of different perspectives, all centring around the doctrine of "patriarchy" and the newer "Kyriarchy" systems, that inversely target the men of the world, placing blame on their gender for the theorised problems of women in the modern world.

It has a track record of imposing itself on other systems of thought and belief as in "feminist science" and "feminist psychology", rarely producing things that are of worth to the field the feminist label has been placed on it.

Feminism is - in the end - an outdated form of Womens Equality, with the legislation and changes to law that have been placed in, the simple fact of the matter is that while inequalities do exist in the world, the primary reason for these are womens choices rather than an imposed system of male supremacy.
"I think that there should be equal amounts of male and females in board rooms"
"I agree...want to take the training course we offer so you can do that?"
"what, I...no-no thanks, I'd rather moderate and keep things a certain way on Urban Dictionary, I mean if I don't, some alt-right, cis, het white male might make posts that disagree with how I see the world."
