n. One who dresses the part of being "artsy" (or bohemian) so as to impress one's friends/classmates. One trademark of faux-ho fashion is buying pre-distressed or paint-splattered jeans at a higher price than normal jeans to show that they shop at thrift stores or are artists, respectively. Another is having a simplistic liberal ideology (i.e. Bush is a moron. Bush stole the election. etc.) that manifiests itself in the wearing of t-shirts with "edgy" slogans such as "Every vote counts, if you count every vote!" Many think Iran-Contra was a video game.
"Wow, Rick! That Rollings Stones psudeo-vintage concert shirt is totally faux-ho!"

A "Faux Ho" is someone who impersonates, pretends and tries to convince other people they are a real sex worker, via message boards, online forums, blogs, website comments, messengers, email, twitter or any other kind of online communication
Alexa Di Carlo who writes the blog "Real Princess Diaries" isn't really an escort, she's a Faux Ho.

A super close female friend that walks the line of behaving like a girlfriend, without the any of the nookie. It's possible that there was a romantic connection in the past, yet not necessary.
When one of your closest friends is a member of the opposite sex (and you're a guy), they are your Faux-Ho.

taking the clothing style of bohemian to the absolute extreme, characterized by huge chunky bracelets, flowy floor-length wannabe-hippie skirts, and tacky rhinestones and beads in all the places they don't belong. basically it's all the styles of fabric and jewelry forced together and thrown up all over the body.
Oh my god, check out Ashley, her skirt is like leaving a trail of sequins and she clearly hasn't shaved in like a month. That is so fauxho!
