Taking a break from facebook for an extended period of time. Ben, where've you been? I haven't seen you on here in a while.
Oh, I was becoming such a douche being addicted to talking to old people I have little to do with. I needed a facation. |

Calling in sick when you are not actually sick I have to work this Friday, but I'm thinking about taking a facation.

A lie used to get out of a certain job, a fake vacation. "Due to my facation, I couldn't attend the dance this year."

A trip to visit relatives extending beyond one day. Literally "fake vacation." Not to be confused with the term "vacation" which may include relaxation and/or solitude. During our facation to Seattle, we stayed with my sister-in-law. The kids loved playing with their cousins. Phew, I'm ready to get back to work for some recovery.
