Using the term FTFM, like RTFM (Read the Fucking Manual) from which is was derived, tells a person that they should have read the manual before asking. Unlike RTFM, however, FTFM is used when the person responding actually wants to provide a useful answer.

Used when one knows when one's previous comment was erroneous; primarily in a comment below an original comment.
