The main villian of the famous game series Sonic the Hedgehog. Real name Dr. Ivo Robotnik. He's a scientist obsessed with showing the world how great he is. "The Greatest scientific genius in the word." as he calls himself. Many incarnations had followed him as many different cartoons of Sonic had appeared but the name Eggman differs him from the rest and marking him as the original Sonic villian.
Eggman "Ahh, if it isn't Sonic!"
Sonic "Look, a giant talking egg."
Eggman "I am Dr. Robotnik! The greatest scientific genius IN THE WORLD!" ~ Sonic Adventure/DX
Eggman "Join the Eggman Empire!" ~ Sonic Adventure 2
a word used in the beatles hit song 'i am the walrus'
i am the eggman
they are the eggmen
i am the walrus
goo goo g'joob
A fat guy who doesn't have a life, and can't call pest control to get rid of a hedgehog. He spends billions of dollars to build robots in effort to destroy said hedgehog, but only sends them out one at a time. They commonly have:
Bad aiming LAZOR BEAMS PEWPEWPEW,
Conviniantly placed slot machines,
And easily ripped through armor.
He likes to kidnap little roadkill kissing girls for his own amusement, *coughElisecough* but then gives them back out of boredom or pity. He also likes to kidnap roadkill to lure hedgehogs into his lair, even though hedgehogs hate said roadkill but come in anyway.
Not a genuis even though he says he is.
For a 300 IQ guy, Eggman sure doesn't know how to dial pest control.
1. Eric Burdon aka 'eggs' lead singer of band the animals. Named so for his fondness of breaking eggs over young women on one ocassion done in the presence of John Lennon. As described in his biography and referenced to in popular beatles song 'i am the walrus' written by Lennon. The B-side track on the magical mystery tour to Paul Mccartney's 'Hello GoodBye'.
2. Also the name of an eggman in sega game brand 'Sonic the hedgehog'. Origionaly named 'Dokutā Egguman' (Japanese for Doctor Eggman) but renamed eggman for English speaking markets. He is known in some games as Docto Ivo Robotnik because his grandfather's name was 'Gerald Robotnik'.
3. The nickname of egg-artist Alan Traynor.
I am the eggman, they are the eggmen we are the walrus.
lyric in the beatles song i am the walrus.
inspired by a story john lennon heard about the animals frontman eric burdon. apparently while "entertaining" young ladies back stage mr burdon would crack an egg on the women's stomach as he finished, thus earning him the nickname the eggman.
eric cracked an egg on that whore's stomach as he finshed off, therefor he is an eggman.
The real eggman was some dude named Eric Burdon. But the eggman in the song I Am the Walrus is god-knows-who. Just enjoy the damn song.
I am the eggman,
They are the eggmen,
I am the walrus!
