Checking in into an establishment on Foursquare when you're around the area but not really there. Usually done by people who just want to unlock badges or get mayorships. Friend: "Hey, I saw you checked into Wal-Mart last night, I was there, but didn't see you!"
You: "Yea, that was a drive-by check-in. I just wanna make sure I was still mayor." |
