Deviantart is a website where so called "artists" submit their work. It's a good way for emo/anime lovers to make "friends". There is some good artwork on there, but why waste your time making artwork for some crappy site? It's not like you're going to get recognized by some famous artist or something, just by some teenagers who think they know good artwork(which they don't) and write "brilliant!" for every drawing of Naruto they see. If these "artists" were smart, then they'd go to an actual place instead of Deviantart. Also, I feel bad for those models who have to get naked, just because some horny "fashion photographer" couldn't get a real job for an agency and hired a bimbo for free.
Girl: Omigod. This drawing of Johnny Depp took me 100,000 hours to make and color, but I've finally finished. Now I can submit to some retarded website that no one cares about.
Commenter: Brilliant!(stupid comment) But, the pupil of his left eye is a bit too small.
Girl: AW SHIT!
Boy: Yeesss, my anime flash of Naruto and his girlfriend is complete! And it only took me 2 days with no sleep!
Commenter: The bet artwork I've ever seen! (not) Brilliant!
Model: Heeeyy! I'm here for my Vogue photoshoot.
So-called "fashion photographer": Okay, now get naked.
Model: Hey! Why are you the only one here? Isn't this for Vogue!
SCFD: No bimbo! This is for deviantart.com! Now take off your clothes!
Model: For what?!
1) acronym for Kids Getting Older Younger. The theory suggests that children are maturing too quickly thanks to the media and slutty toys such as bratz.
2) An "underground" anime/cartoon artist with an excessively large ego who submits his work to DeviantArt.com.
Concerned Parent: "I feel that Kids are getting older at a much younger age."
Fanboy: "Go to KensGonnaOwnYou.deviantart.com and get annoyed at the fact that I draw better than you."
"deviantART is a popular online artistic community. It was first launched on 6 August 2000 by Scott Jarkoff and Matthew Stephens. Angelo Sotira is the current CEO of deviantART, Inc.
deviantART aims to provide a place for any artist to exhibit and discuss his or her artworks. It also provides a community of like-minded individuals. The site consists of over 1.5 million users and over 17 million submissions (as of Dec. 2005).
deviantART is so named for the exhibits it displays. They are all created differently, with a different idea, and artist, as to be called deviant." - Source: Wikipedia.com
Simply put, deviantART is an online community dedicated to providing a place where artists may share/exhibit their work and receive feedback. Along with the aforementioned, deviantART also has other community features such as chatrooms, forums, shoutboxes, and more.
I can exhibit my work on deviantART.
1. An archival website you can use to host your drawings, sketches, art, and fanart, sometimes writings and get feedback and other forms of communication that you might not get otherwise
2. Gets some poor reviews by people who think saying that people don't want to look at fanart will make it true.
1. the comments and criticism I get at Deviantart could help me become a better artist
2. hater: why would you look at fanart from a show you enjoy, when you could enjoy an all black canvas at an art museum?
Fanart viewer: Yeah...you go ahead and do that...loser
Meaning something is 'the best', like the 'bees knees'

"Dude, did you see that episode of Naruto the other day?"
"DUDE! That episode was the pirate's privates!"

A free social networking site made to become an alternative and to laugh in the face of Facebook.com , or as some Emobook users call them, FacePlace after Kathy Griffin and her mother.
TheEmoBook welcomes all misfits, scenes, emo, and goths with respect and has a record to hold many artistic, music loving, and talented members. Like Facebook that started around certain universities, this site was made and spread around a site called DeviantART, where artists of any age and kind could post their arts. The group on DeviantART who made this was #TheEmoGroup, one of the most popular emo groups ever on DA
Although the site shares extreme similarities to FacePlace, it has many more features, and not as many members to seem more comfortable.
In interviews, EmoBook is described as "Facebook, but hidden in a corner from bullies and preps and less stupid. Emobook is small but that might be the best part."
Since I joined TheEmoBook.com, I dont want to commit suicide because of no more Faceplace bullies. Thanks Emobook.
A good community web site for the digital art community, but some people are very jealous about it's success. They need to grow up.
