Village of approximately 7000 inhabitants, situated between Crawley and East Grinstead, and forever living in their respective shadows. The one row of shops in the village has a dis-proportionately high number of barbers, hair-dressers and green-grocers.

Also located here is the Haven Centre and the Crawley Down Massive - a group of ASBOs-in-waiting who used to hang around the shops, and occasionally the war memorial.
