- Phrasal Expression
1. Glass is cracked
Cynical expression which originates from the metaphorical "glass-half-empty-or-half-full", positing that it matters NOT "whether the glass is half empty or half full" as the glass is "cracked" and therefor prone to "leaking". (i.e. Pessimism versus optimism is irrelevant).
2. Failure; Cynic (person)
3. Impossible situation or cause (action)
1. "I think the glass is cracked on this one, guys ."
2. "Don't even bother. She's a cracked glass."
