A long wooden stick with a point on the end for people to scratch their butts. Similar to the backscratcher. Peter Griffin from Family Guy sold Buttscratchers at sporting events to pay for Chris's tuition in "No Chris Left Behind".
Peter usually holds one up and says to the crowd "Buttscratcher?" Usually someone answers back saying "Buttscratcher!"
Very funny to say in real life. Never gets old. Ever.
Peter: Buttscratcher? Buttscratcher? Get your Buttscratchers here! Buttscratcher?
Man (hands peter money) Buttscratcher.
Peter: (hands man buttscratcher) mmmButtscratcher.
Man 2: Buttscratcher?
Little devices used to scratch your butt, sold by Peter Griffin at sporting events.
Lois: No, Peter.
Lois: NO PETER!
Peter: (dissapointed tone) buttscratcher.
The term originally coined by Family Guy's Peter Griffin now has a cult following at UK music festivals such as Glastonbury, Latitude, Leeds and Reading. A festival-goer will shout "Buttscratcher!!!" at the top of his or her voice, and this will be met by replies of "Buttscratcher" from anyone who hears it, and who understands the tradition. The practise helps to build a sense of community at festivals.
3 others: "Buttscratcher!!!!!"
- A long plastic stick with a tiny hand on the end.
- Used to reach areas usually hard to gain access to, such as the anus and surrounding areas.
- Also used during tenseful and tiring events such as viewing a football match
when areas, such as the anus and sorrounding areas, cry for attention.
At the stadium.
Lee: I'll use this buttscratcher to satisfy hard-to-reach areas!
a extended and erect rod, preferably wood (or plastic if you're cheap), with a sickle-shaped head used primarily for relieving an itchy sensation present in one's buttocks
I was so happy when I experienced the sensation of a true buttscratcher for the first time!
-Was yelled a lot at Otakon 2009, got very annoying by the end of the convention, buttscratcher must die.
