Used to describe a discussion about science that has devolved into a pointless shouting match or flamewar. It is analogous to the words Goodwin'd and Bevets'd but specifically applies to a discussion about science. Most commonly used on internet discussion threads. Steve: All scientists are phonys and liars! I heard it on talk radio!
Dave: Nuh-uh. I'm a real sciuntist and I know for a fact that the ice caps will all melt by next year! Al: This thread has been Brockway'd. I'm gonna stop wasting my time here and get back to writing that journal article. |
