look up any word, like thot:

1.
A large mediocre university in Muncie, Indiana known for several things including:
-A world class telecommunications program.
-A top twenty architecture program.
-Really cute hoosier co-eds.
-Incredible street parties.
-Occasional men's basketball prowess.
-The alma mater of David Letterman.
-A student body who has a really good time despite being located in one of the most depressing declining cities (see funcie) in the midwest.
-In the same athletic conference as Kent State
Man, I feel like spending 4-5 years of my late teens and early twenties having a good time; I think I'll apply to Ball State.

2.
A large, underrated university in Indiana. Known for its frequent parties, nationally ranked academic programs, and terrible athletics.
Welcome to the only college cool enough to have an obscenity in its name: Ball State!

3.
Alma Mater of David Letterman, Joyce DeWitt, Garfield creator Jim Davis, and Papa John's founder John Schnatter. Ball State is known for being the birthplace of the popular internet video which featured the phrase "Boom goes the dynamite!" Also, Ball State is known for having a terrible football team.
I would rather Ball U. (for Ball State University) than I.U. (meaning Indiana University)
