A BBW means big beautiful woman. i have read plenty of the descriptions of the term, and quite frankly, i'm a bit pissed. some people,(but not all) can't help how much they weigh. those that can, just don't care. not all BBW's are hella lazy, or can't climb the stairs right, or have tits they can tuck into their shirts. most of us, actually do the exercise, and partake of a healthy diet, but face it, some are just not meant to be a size zero. One of the only reasons we cant get to that size, is because we refuse to throw up after meals, or(i've done this one before) chew our food, then spit it out. another reason? some of us, just dont have freakishly fast metabolisms. my point is, GOD made us the sizes we are, if we sucessfully lose some, it's because we are supposed to. if we lose, then gain, then we are meant to have a season, if we don't lose any, despite working hard, then guess what? we are of the special chosen few, who are meant to be BIG BEAUTIFUL WOMEN!!!!! signed, a true BBW a woman,(who happens to be, thicker than most) has just had a c-section two days prior, walks past a few of the male nurses, assigned to her room. the men, recognizing her, and having big time admiration, say to each other, "check out that strong BBW there"

A word that fat chicks use as a euphemism for fat. These girls usually run personal ads calling themselves "pleasingly plump." Sure, you're pleasingly plump if the South Pole is refreshingly chilly.

1. A leading term used by many as Big Beautiful Woman.
2. An empowering alternative and politically correct description for the plus size woman as opposed to the derogatory term of Fat. 3. A woman who is over the so called weight standards. The women at this fashion club have too many issues, I heard the women at the BBW clubs are cool.

"Big Beautiful Woman." A cute fat chick. And yes, they do exist. Mary stormed into her apartment, her hair still damp and her round, pretty face suffused with anger, and threw the bag containing her size-18 SlimSuitâ„¢ violently into the corner. Those smirking gym rats at the pool had gotten on her last nerve, and swimming circles around them didn't help any longer. As if it wasn't bad enough that her latest attempt at dieting had only managed to make her feel tired and cranky!
Finally, she sat down at the computer and began drafting a tentative personal ad: "BBW seeks real man..." |

bbw stands for "big beautiful women." these are woman who are overweight and still feel deserving of love because they realize that they don't have to live up to certain "standards" that society has set in order to be pretty. this obviously takes self-esteem and courage, and it's a landmark to get past. an overweight woman who still feels beautiful is very admirable. more...
some of the stereotypes that have been written before mine are ridiculous. it seems like half the people on this website think anyone who is overweight sits around all day, never gets off their ass, and only moves when they want to go from the couch to the fridge. this is so far from the truth, and i feel the need to set the record straight. most overweight woman... AND men... are normal people walking around living their lives just like anyone else. i'm sure many would be surprised to see the eating habits of an overweight person. it isn't necessarily a person who sits around eating McDonalds all day, so you best get that out of your head. anyone who is still reading is probably smirking in their seat, muttering "yeah okay fattie." and it is true, i'm overweight, though i am not disgusting. i also have a full-time job, am a part time student, am involved in many activities. i also eat three meals a day just like everyone else. i feel beautiful, but not because i'm overweight and that means i am beautiful, but because i have forced myself to look beyond magazines and the like for answers on what society expe... |

BBW stands for Big Beautiful Woman. Which, as someone stated earlier, is an oxymoron.
For one thing, some fat woman are cute, just as well as some people with a normal body weight are cute. I'd say the ratio of fat good looking people to normal weights is about 1:7. Not many fat people look good, and once their clothes come off it I think they become more nauseating than cute. All people have their own personalities, being fat or skinny doesn't dictate your personality. They only compare themselves to the skinny people, when that is not the standard with beautiful women. There's a healthy median between fat and skinny, and that's normal. (no, I don't mean America's average. 5"4 - 110 lbs, etc.) Excluding the .05% of the population that enjoys cottage cheese or bones, people, especially men, like that average. It's not beautiful to be fat or twiggy. Janet is a fat woman. Janet calls herself a BBW because she wants more self-esteem but is too lazy to lose the weight. Janet uses the exscuse that she has medical issues, but at the same time Janet criticizes skinny people even though the majority of them have medical issues too, just like fat people. Janet could lose the weight if she tried, but Janet finds it much easier to bask in her own ignorance.
