B. (aprox)1840 D.(supposed)1997
Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. (ya know...where Harry Potter goes)
Order of Merlin, First Class, and Grand Sorcerer; Founder and Secretkeeper of the Order of the Phoenix; Supreme Mugwump of the International Confederation of Wizards, and Chief Warlock of the Wizengamot.
One of the greatest headmasters Hogwarts has ever seen, and the only Wizard to strike fear into "he who must not be named"
I personally don't believe that Dumbledore is dead. I mean come on Fawkes only cried for like 1 day. He's still around, and just when you really think he is gone...There he'll be, saving the day.
You just watch...
Full name Albus Percival Wolfric Brian Dumbledore. Born around 1840-46, died 1997. Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, in the novels by Jo Rowling. Named for the Latin for white, and an Anglo-Saxon term meaning "bumblebee", as Rowling imagined the old man humming about the school. Headed the Order of the Phoenix in both its incarnations. Campaigned for the truth about the evil Voldemort to be known, but was unimpressed by his power and pretensions; addressed Voldemort simply as "Tom" (Marvolo Riddle) whenever they met. Killed for reasons Harry Potter does not at first comprehend, but as for the question of whether we see him again, hey, this is Hogwarts, remember? Recently outed by author Rowling as gay (!!! go Jo !!!); his greatest mistake was to fall in love with Gellert Grindelwald. Wise old man who has come by his wisdom in that hallowed ...
someone who didn't die, cuz he's fucking God
HBP: Snape raiseh his wand and pointed it directlu at Dumbledore.
A jet of green light shot form the end of Snape's wad and hit Dumbledore squarely in the chest. Harry's scream of horror never left him; silent and unmoving, he was forced to watch as Dumbledore was blasted into the air. For a split second, he seemed to hang suspended beneath the shining skull, and then he fell slowly backward, like a great rag doll, over the battlements and out of sight.
Me: STFU, you can't fucking kill Albus Dumbledore, just like they couldn't kill Jesus, Gandalf, or Aslan, cuz they're all fucking God
Dead-ringer for Gandalf the White.
"Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment! Tweak!" = Really big hottie.
Full name: Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore
Fatherly figure and invaluable helper for Harry Potter in the Harry Potter series. Usually the one to give Harry the courage/resources he needs to accomplish whatever obstacles are put before him. Killed by Severus Snape in the sixth novel, but his death is questionable for several reasons:
1. He went FLYING off of the roof when hit by the curse. Everyone else simply dropped to the ground, dead before they even hit it.
2. What happened to his wand? In the song sung by a drunken Hagrid and Slughorn, it says, "They laid him to rest with his hat inside out and his wand snapped in two, which was sad." But there was no mention whatsoever of his wand after it rolled to the corner of the roof. Maybe he still needs it?
3. A phoenix. Why a phoenix? Why not an owl, the customary symbol of wisdom which is the very quintessence of our definition of Dumbledore? I believe that, like the phoenix with which he is so closely associated, Dumbledore will rise from the ashes...in one form or another.
Albus Dumbledore can't be dead, Harry still needs him.
Fictional character from Harry Potter book series.
