Both rich and average class folks live there. Most hated on city in Westchester County, and often imitiated..never duplicated. Yonkers, New Rochelle,etc can complain but MV has its history. If Mt. Vernon had as much economic support and land as the other cities, it would be even better! Person 1: "I'm from Mount Vernon"

The hardest place in the whole westchester county. Harder than New Ro, Yonkers and all of that. It used to have a very large italian population but most have moved on though some remain and are running businesses in the area. It's only 4 square miles from Memorial Field to Fleetwood and all over that area. Has a distinct line between the hood and the suburbs and even has some really nice houses that are worth millions of dollars. Always hated on by the rest of Westchester but forever better. Home to many celebrities such as Phylicia Rashad (Bill Cosby's TV Wife), Denzel Washington, Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs, Heavy D, Al. B Sure, Ben Gordon (on Chicago Bulls), Lynn From "Good Day NY" (Fox 5 Morning News), Misa Hylton-Brim, and Dick Clark. Known for its sports teams and being hood. Spend a day and walk through Murder ville and you will see alot of things ranging from people shooting and selling crack to people living it up in the suburbs. Them boys up in Murdaville don't play.

Diddy has 4 biological children, Justin Dior combs his eldest,Christian Combs, and two baby girls, He also raises Al b Sure's son ,Quincy. He goes by the names of Puffy,P.diddy,Diddy, Puff daddy But currently called "Diddy" P.diddy can be very arrogant at times.
