One of the better shows of the 1980s. Features 4 mercenaries saving good-hearted folks from evil suckas while avoiding being captured by Colonel Klink. Every episode is action packed because the A-Team is on the jazz.
A crack commando unit from Vietnam that was sent to prison in 1972 for a crime they did not commit. After promptly escaping from a maximum security stocade, they now survive as soldiers of fortune, still on the run from the military police. They work for anyone who is in need of help and are innocent, hard-working people trying to make a living, and will usually do the job for free, even though they are supposedly "hired."
Consists of leader Colonel John "Hannibal" Smith, Sergeant Bosco "B.A." Baracus, Lieutenant Templeton "Face" Peck, and Captain "Howlin' Mad" Murdock.
"If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire: The A-Team."
Intro to the A-Team:
In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promtly escaped the maximun security stockade to the Los Angeles Underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the A-team.
I love the A-Team. It's a great show.
To expend lots of ammunition and hitting nothing. "To A-team" after the popular 1980's television show which had such occurences every episode.
"Sergeant, why did your squad fail thier weapon's evalutaion?"
"We A-Teamed it sir. We missed the target but caused the jeep to fly in the air and hit soem boxes though.

A very popular action adventure show from the 80s. Aired for five seasons. Core team consisted of the Colonel Hannibal Smith (I love it when a plan comes together), Face (always good with the ladies), Mad Murdock (always escaping from various psych hospitals) and, of course, B.A. Baracus (Hannibal, I ain't going on no plane!!)
The show mainly centered around helping out some family business (or just family) from local goons/mobsters/rednecks/cults/etc... Show was fairly formulaic but immensely enjoyable. Plot was as follows... local family asks for help (from Hannibal in disguise), free Murdock from Asylum, Face scores with random chick, threaten/ask goons to back down (or there'll be trouble), fire lots of guns/explosions (yet no one ever died), and finally... build large warmaking contraption out of an abandoned garage (lots of welding and bolts involved) and kick local goons ass!!! And then escape from Military Police
Man, that dude can't shoot the broad side of a barn. He pulled an A Team
