I'm not saying the best ever as some people who only know a little about rap would say. But 2pac was an alltime great who was very influential and contributed a lot of hard work with strong emotion. Ever since the digital underground days his rhymes had a lot of character in them and he stood out more than shock g and money b. His rap style is very poetical and he covers a lot of emotions of a troubled lifestyle. I believe he was better at the time of 'me against the world', but was still ok on deathrow, some might not agree, but I feel deathrow fueled his style more into 'gangsta without a cause' than his political and real heartfelt style that was a better influence to our troubled societies we live in. And as a result, the 'thug life' image deathrow helped to escalate even further, was also his downfall. It was a sad day back in sept 96 when I heard he had passed away. I just thought, damn what a loss!. And sadly even pac knew his day was coming soon because of his life situation at the time. The good thing is, while he was in prison he got to write a lot of rhymes and also just before and after he was out he was known to just write lyrics in a short time not a lot of others could match. Theres a few 100 songs he still has and will be released in time. Lets just hope that whiteboy eminem doesn't try and produce anymore of them to appeal to the others(if you know what i mean!). 2pac was a role model for our struggling youth in the heart of the citys, and i don't mean these well off crackas with identity and sexuality crisis'. This was music for the REAL struggling society, not the wannabes who took it upon themselves to become false thugs portraying the image in their heads to fit the music in their ears. Most of them weren't fans and didn't know about tupac until after his death. A lot of people were in a confused state leaving themselves wondering and trying to convince others that ''he's still alive!'', that is how much of an impact he made. I did think that too until 97 when I thought it through properly and had to let it go. I mean people have gone so far and taken his lyrics out of context, he was referring to leaving the ghetto not the earths surface, he spoke of escapism of his 'thug life' wanting to get rich, people thought he died from his first shooting which ended in his undeserving arrest which is what he used to refer to and he always knew that his life would not be that long in the struggle. All of these conspiracy theories are weak and hold no weight to an argument which easily would result in ''pac is dead!''. I mean all this 7 bullshit has to stop, you are only fooling yourself and have too much time on your hands, let it rest!. ohhh, his barbers last digits are 223=7, his album had 14 tracks, divide it by 2=7, and it goes on.......GROW THE FUCK UP AND STOP THIS 7 SHIT!! and all the other stuff, if you have anything to prove let me know and I will clarify it to your concience. I don't think any of you who claims he is alive have even read the REAL machiavellis books, and if you have, you would not question if pac is alive or not right now. But his spirit lives on and his music is here forever. I make music too, and we have a lot of things in todays studios, stuff to change the layers of your voice so you sound like someone else(e.g. pac, biggie, eminem...on and on), ways to chop sections of vocals from old songs and make them into new ones that sound completely different, computer programs that could make your CD cover look like you are standing in front of 100 real ferraris with gold teeth and bling that you don't have. ANYTHING YOU CAN THINK OF. I have used all of these things when playing around in the studio and home. All eyez really are on suge knight for his death(smart people will feel me on this too) otherwise it could have just been gang related. People need to see that, normally when people die, they can't do anything else except for be dead and a dead person. Let us all just remember tupac for what he done and what is still unreleased for the future. Peace! 7 luv! lol
man1:Yo, that looks like 2pac with some hair and a beard over there who that guy is passing that bag to.
man2:Oh my god, it is man, so he's been living in that greenhouse all this time
man1:(Calls friends)-yo, you won't believe it! we seen 2pac nigga

######!!WORLD HAS A PARTY!!########

He was a great rapper with a big character and his spirit and music will live on forever!! unless that stupid white cracka eminem has the rights to produce all his work and ruins him completely.
2pac maybe the most influential rapper in history
unlike mpost rappers today he actually had something to say and if u look at his list of books he read its far more than our dick president could ever understand (or motley crue for that matter..thats straight to u God of Rock, u cock sucking bitch...ur a narrow minded faggot and no one wants ur input. hey guess what u dick head, im a huge rap fan but i also have led zep on my iPod so u can shut the fuck up and grow a pair)

his poetry was deep and meaningful (and was not raps so shut up if u think thats all he could write)

his death marks a day that will never be forgotten

he was a workaholic, thats where his music comes from (hes not aloud, and its disrespectful to him, his family, and his friends to say hes still alive...i dont think his mother would be crying at night about the death of her living son)

any racist assholes who simply dont like him becuz he was a black man who had struggles that youd probly never survive, or becuz he made rap music can go make a definition for something they actually know about

tupac amaru shakur went to prison for rape becuz he had a bad lawyer and becuz the accuser lied to get some money. (on a recording of the trial his shit head lawyer pronounced his name two-pack amarur shakoo)

tupac, R.I.P. (1972-1996) forever remembered
In The Depths Of Solitude
by "2pac" Amaru Shakur

i exist in the depths of solitude
pondering my true goal
trying 2 find peace of mind
and still preserve my soul
constantly yearning 2 be accepted
and from all receive respect
never comprising but sometimes risky
and that is my only regret
a young heart with an old soul
how can there be peace
how can i be in the depths of solitude
when there r 2 inside of me
this duo within me causes
the perfect oppurtunity
2 learn and live twice as fast
as those who accept simplicity

ignorant, people said?...kiss my ass you know nothing

A rapper who is still selling millions of records even though he is supposedly dead. Many people still believe the man is alive living in some other country and may some day come back. There are many clues and reasons behind why people think this may happen. For those people who think he was shot, 2 Pac's killer is unkown. Some think that Suge Knight killed him (There are also many clues leading towards that). Whatever really happened, 2 Pac is arguably the best rapper of all time, and we all miss him.
2 Pac is in Thugz Mansion

Person 1: It's too bad 2 Pac had to die, I wish they found the killer.
Person 2: He's not dead he's in Cuba.
Person 3: Suge Knight killed him.

Okay, first of all. Rap is a form of music. Maybe not your taste, but the taste of many individuals.
Personally I like rap, and it is because whenever I hear rock, pop or hip-hop I can't feel anything but disgust. I don't care if they're musicians and doing their job, a shitty person is a shitty person and I'de rather not listen to some drug taking fag thinging his opinions (which are pointless to me).
Tupac was less a musician than an inspiration. His ideals, his life, it had a purpose. He was crying out for his people. What use do yuor idols have except for getting you in the mood?
Don't diss Tupac, cause he was so much stronger than any of your druggie rock musicians. He gave up his addiction. He felt strongly about the situation his people were in, not about saving some mother fucking trees. His philosphy is widely accepted by many. if you can't help your people why try to save some mother fucking trees, or go and try to save Iraq? Without Tupac, you have the ghettos the way they were when he died. If he were still alive today things would be different. He would force the goverments heads down onto the situation.
So shut up, you make me sick. You have no brains, just look at who you are listening to. Look at the person. What are they singing about? Are they being true to themselves? (being real?) I think you'll find that they trully are not, and that you are in fact.... a dipshit, with no brains.
Sure Tupac raped about big ballin' but that was only to get done what had to be done, for his domination over his people. Plus he lived that life, he was forced apon his life, he wasn't about to change, but he would try to change the future.

Dumb, mother fucking red neck, go learn your culture. Look at your fat ass (and your leaders and ideals, how enclosed around you are they?), what a shame you are to culture itself.
I repeat, you make me sick.
Think big, think about life. Learn Philosophy. And you'll see that you are nothing but bile. Go commit suicide, please. Let your family feel releaved.
Tupac was a man, a man with more good in him (more brains in him) than your whole family. I wish that people these days start to grow brains. I mean, how many millenia have to pass for that to happen. Will our race forever be doomed to listen to the crap that comes out of the mouths of all ignorant hill-billies?

Tupac Amaru Shakur...
He was my reason to learn English...
First the beats got me, later the more I understood the lyrics, the more I was amazed... After him, I saw the changes in me...He was talented that's true...
Yes, he might not be the greatest actor but he was the best on the real stage what we call "LIFE"
He was true to the bone, had dreams like anybody else had, like making money, living a fabulous life. But what's more he never forgot where he came from. He lived an unfinished life, what'd happen if he was still alive?! God knows...

Thug In Peace, I won't forget cha :(
It's been a decade, but 2pac is not forgotten.

A deceased African-American who captivated thousands with his rapping ability. He is such an amazing talent, that even after being slaughtered, he creates masterpieces. He has released almost the same number of songs post-mortem as he did alive.
"Yo, 'ju git dat new 2-Pac shit?"

"Oh, fo sho! It was crunk!"

2Pac IS the greatest rap artist of all time and nothing can change that. No matter how many twats come on spouting off their shit about him being a rapist and a fake. It's just because you don't really know what you are talking about and clearly haven't listened to his music or if you have you haven't listened deeply enough. I am unsure whether he really is alive, like some theories suggest but i do know that in my heart he is still alive, and nothing can change that. His music is there in all it's glory and 4 PLATINUM Albums prove that he was/still is a great inspiration to myself and others who have bought the albums. The greatest rapper of all time is Tupac Amaru Shakur and no Eminem, 50 Cent or Ja Rule is ever going to take his crown. RIP 2PAC. ps. Don't take any notice of 'GOD OF ROCK', he's a stupid nobhead who don't know what he's on about
2Pac:"I'm not the thief who grabs your purse. I'm not the guy who jacks your car. I'm not down with people who steal and hurt others. I'm just a brother who fights back. I'm not some violent closet psycho." From Tupac's interview with the NY Times in 1995
