| 1. | Audubon | ||
|
An avenue in Upper Manhattan that begins at 165th St and runs to 193rd St where it meets Ft George Hill. It is between the commercial thoroughfares of Amsterdam and St
Nicholas Avenues, which are the main arteries of the Heights along with Broadway. If anything, Audubon Avenue has a reputation as a rough area, even today when the Heights ands all of NYC is gentrifying at a rapid pace. Audubon maintains it's "roughness" and is still like it was in the old days. Probably the most famous product to be sold on Audubon is "haze" which is synonymous with Audubon and the Heights. Weed, especially haze, is so common on Audubon that everyone from suburbanites to rappers are buying weed there. Audubon Avenue is also home to George Washington H.S. former home to everyone from Manny Ramirez to Henry Kissinger. "And I done copped from every damn haze spot on Audubon!" - rapper Hell Rell of the Dipset in a 2007 rhyme.

Upper Broadway is the upper portion of Broadway in New York City. Upper Broadway's boundaries are undefined, but in this day and age anything above 125th Street can be considered upper Broadway. This being the case, upper Broadway runs through West Harlem, Hamilton Heights, Washington Heights, Inwood, Marble Hill and into Riverdale where it becomes South Broadway in the City of Yonkers. The borderline for New York City is W.262nd Street. Broadway continues all the way up towards Albany under a guise of different routes, notably known as Route 9.
Some important intersections along upper Broadway are 125th, 145th, 155th, 168th, 175th, 181st, Dyckman, 207th, 225th, 231st and 242nd Street. Unlike lower Broadway, upper Broadway is way more "ethnic" New York passing through many different ethnic neighborhoods on its way up. 125th and Broadway is upper Broadway, but is becoming gentrified despite its gritty look

| 3. | blue-light | ||
|
One of the "Select" Bx12 buses that run from the corner of Edson Ave. and Bartow Ave. in the Bronx in New York, to the corner of 207th St. and Broadway in Manhattan, New York. The buses are run on an experimental basis to relieve overcrowding on this much-used run: one must insert a Metrocard into a special machine at key stops along the bus route in order to get a paper receipt, then board the bus from the REAR. After several minutes the bus driver will collect the paper receipts. Named for the blue lights that flash at the top, showing that the buses are the "Select" route. I love to see that blue-light come along---it's a colorful addition to the road!

| 4. | 207 | ||
|
A euphemism used to refer to an erect penis Origin: there are 206 bones in the human body, thus the "boner" is the 207th Note: through an odd coincidence 69*3=207 (where 69 is a sexual position in which two partners simultaneously preform oral sex on one another and the number 3 resembling a woman's breasts from an aerial view) "She bent over and I got a huge 207"
"I couldn't hide my 207" |
