29. Filter Syndrome
Term describing the phenomenon in which a band or artist releases a song or album that is a significant change in style from their previous works but ironically becomes one of their most popular hits, often to the dismay of already established fans.

The term itself derives from the industrial band Filter, whose song "Take a Picture," which departed from their hard rock/industrial sound with a more mellow ballad. The song became their most popular, peaking at #1 on Billboard's Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart.

Other examples of Filter Syndrome: Spin Doctors - "Two Princes";Sugar Ray - "Fly";Metallica - "Enter Sandman";"Weezer - "Beverly Hills"
That song wasn't like their old stuff, but it got so popular; talk about a case of Filter Syndrome.
30. ATL
Atlanta is a big metropolitan city with a lot of opportunity, and is constantly hated on by northerners. As myself being a native Atlantan, I will set the record straight on how ATL really is: Atlanta is home to top people like Martin Luther King, Hosea Williams, Creflo Dollar, Gladys Knight, Hank Aaron, T.I., Luda and etc. Atlanta city has roughly 500,000 people living there and roughly 6-7 million people in the metropolitan area. The population is still growing steadily.

ATLANTA:
Buckhead: Buckhead is an extremely affluent area located north of downtown atlanta where the major streets are Peachtree St, Piedmont Rd, and Pharr Rd. Buckhead is infested with sky lofts, high-rise condos and nightclubs. North Buckhead has many multi-million dollar houses. Buckhead is probably 90% white and celebs like Martin Lawrence, Young Jeezy, Jeff Foxworthy, Indigo Girls are calling Buckhead home.

MIDTOWN: Midtown is close to Downtown Atlanta where the major street is West Ponce De Leon Ave. Midtown has many nightclubs and lounges and welcomes the gay scene in Atlanta, and is also known for the famous "Piedmont Park".

DOWNTOWN: Exciting!!! Home to tall skycrapers, tourist attractions and historic sites such as MLK Historic District, CNN Building, Margaret Mitchell's Home (Gone With The Wind), Ebenezer Baptist, Turner Field, World of Coca-Cola,...

31. Radiohead
An english alternative rock band that formed in Oxfordshire in 1985 by the name of 'On a Friday'.

Achieved a world wide smash hit single 'Creep' in 1992, but came to detest being recognized a as one hit wonder band. So the members decided to explore new ground with each subsequent and diverse album, dipping their musical toes in Jazz, Electronica, Avant-Garde, Space and Art rock.

By 2007 they had released their seventh studio album over the internet, but with a catch... buyers could purchase the album for whatever price they wanted. Even for nothing.

Radiohead have developed a massive fan base over the years and have been regarded critically by many as one of the greatest bands alive today, having been chosen by the Rolling Stone magazine as one of the greatest artists of all time.

But on a separate note, anyone who cites Radiohead as 'boring' or 'pretentious', HAS CLEARLY NEVER BLOODY LISTENED TO 'KID A' IN THEIR LIFE!!!!!!!
"Oi mate, this Radiohead stuff is naff!"

(hands a copy of 'Kid A')

(1 hour later)

"Good lord, I'm sorry I ever doubted you! This album is AMAZING!"
32. Miley Cyrus
Some thrashy hick wannabe singer who woundnt know a tune if it punched her in those misquito bite tities. Also, she only popular for ONE song. (Best of both worlds)

Dude 2: .....

Dude 2 pulls out magnum 500 and empties it into dude 1
33. Hammerzeit
Pronounced H-ah-muhr-Sigh-et.

A purely American term, despite it's German wording, that literally translates out to "Hammertime", which is the abomination that a one hit wonder singer named MC Hammer unleashed upon the world. This phrase is often used in conjunction (and quite possibly based upon) a picture of four German WWII-era Heer (Army) infantry standing on a iced-over pond, one of whom has slipped upon said ice and appears to be break dancing, and his cohorts are mocking his accident. It is by sheer stupidity, and misinformation that this was created, but it is here nonetheless, and is rapidly catching on as a meme. Whoever that mysterous German soldier is, I wish you well in the afterlife...
Halt, Hammerzeit!
34. Wunderwaffe DG-2
The BITCHENEST gun in Call of Duty: World at War. It first showed up in the Japanese level, Shi No Numa. It followed the four players to Der Riese in Germany, where it obliterated zombie ass no matter what level. Also known as the One Hit Wonder, Zombie Fucker, The Gun, the waffle, or OMGWTFBBQ
Player 1: Whatcha got from the box?

Player 2: OMGWTFBBQ, WAFFLE THINGY!1!

Player 1: Thats the Wunderwaffe DG-2
35. Cali Swag District
A music group from Inglewood. They brought the "california dougie" to cali and made it popular by making a song about it. They are not part of the jerking movement and they didn't copy AudioPush. The band members consist of Smoove The General, Yung (who bares a striking resemblance and voice inflection to Lil Wayne), M-Bone "the resident dancer" (the one who can teach you how to dougie straight up), and Jayare aka 3rd (He has the adorable baby voice of the group, ironically his lyrics seem to be the most vulgar and sexually explicit. He also doesn't dance, for reason unknown.)
Most people think of them as a one hit wonder but some have hope that one day they will make enough money to move themselves and their mommys out of the ghetto(inglewood).
Girl 1: Did you hear that song by Cali Swag District?

Girl 2: Yeah, "teach me how to dougie" right?

Girl 1: Yeah that one. I just love JayAre's voice in the third verse. when he says "i dont really like to boogie" i just die! and i love his lip piercing!

Girl 2: Yeah, his voice is pretty cute but my lover from that group is definitely Yung.

Girl 1: He's cute too, i like his piercings too.

Girl 2: Yeah, and smoove is aight too.
