Funky time in American history when the hippies started disappearing and black people could dance well, even if it was mostly disco.
I wish I could go back to the '70s but I'm stuck here in the boring year of 2012.
The absolute best time in music to have existed, and, perhaps ever exist. With bands such as the Moody Blues (Nights in White Satin), America, Chicago (Dust in the Wind), Pink Floyd, Queen, Led Zepplin, Marvin Gaye, Free, Blood Sweat and Tears, and all the awsome forms of disco, the 70's were just a time of absolute fantastic.
Led Zepplin, Queen, Pink Floyd, Marvin Gaye, Free, Blood Sweat and Tears, America, Moody Blues are all examples of the 70's at their finest.
A time period (an awesome one) that most people walked around stoned off their asses.
Man, your stoned off your ass, you belong in the 70's
The best decade for black people in America. This is when their uprising had occured. Blacks going into White schools for the first time, and jobs aswell They even went on to become police officers, firemen, tv/movie stars, lawyers & comedians for the first time.
The 1970s was also when Hip-Hop music, first ever Betamax, VHS player, pong (1st video game), and cassette tapes were invented.
Sanford and Son was the first TV Show that had only black cast. It became the number one black sitcom in the 70s for black viewers
