Το συναντάμε συχνά σε FPS (First-person shooter) παιχνίδια όπου ένας συμπαίχτης τρέχει προς την αντίπαλη ομάδα στα πρώτα δευτερόλεπτα του γύρου χωρίς καμία στρατηγική ή κάλυψη και σκοτώνεται. Θα μπορούσαμε να πούμε ότι καρφώνεται στην απέναντι πλευρά, εξ ου και η κάρφα.
