|1.||Serial Experiments Lain|
The Anime of ALL Anime. Former #1 winner of Japan's most Graphical and Best-Loved Animation of the year 1999 'till this very day. The four disc DVD set is a bitch to pay for, but worth the violence. The suicide, sexy mamas, and drugs prove that Serial Experiments Lain is not for the un-tampered minds. No one can prove it otherwise.
Lain Iwakura is the TRUE God of the wired and there and diddly-shit you can do about it. All preps can run home to their fucking Comic Partys and Tokyo Mew Mews.
|2.||Serial Experiments Lain|
Serial Experiments Lain is an awesome anime series, topped only by the likes of Neon Genesis Evangelion and Spriggan. It follows the tail of Lain Iwakura, a junior high school student who receives an Email from a girl who killed herself... and it only gets weirder.
(me watching Lain with a friend while very stoned after smoking lots of marijuana)
Me: I'm Hungry.
In episode 1, Alice invites Lain to accompany her and her friends to Cyberia....
When she finally goes, some patrons believe they've seen Lain before, but older looking...
|4.||Serial Experiments Lain|
The #1 best anime in existance. Not for the type of anime fan who prefers anime with mechas, "pretty" girls with superpowers and schoolgirl outfits, or space combat.
The only time I ever get to watch Serial Experiments Lain is on TechTV's Anime Unleashed, and TechTV isn't even on basic cable!
Texhnolyze is an anime created by most of the staff who worked on another well-known anime called Serial Experiments: Lain. Texhnolyze is about the underground experimental city known as Lux, which is being controlled by three warring factions; the Union, the Racan and the Organo. The series follows the lives of some individuals in Lux, who are all linked through the science of Texhnolyze. Texhnolyze is a new science which allows new, robotic limbs to be grafted onto the human body without fear of the body rejecting the limb(s).
The series itself is dark and edgy, dealing with concepts such as power, control, human evolution through trans-humanism, human spirit and the struggle to survive. A fantastic anime which, while it takes a while to get into, really does make you think, and marvel at the world of Texhnolyze.
"Texhnolyze, is furthering human evolution."
Individuals who have either never seen decent anime, or who are simply conceited and refuse to believe that the American version of televised entertainment is so pathetic it's actually embarrassing. Serial Experiments Lain was so good it was actually required course material at MIT for several classes concerning technology and modern society.
What anime haters are missing out on:
1. Serial Experiments Lain.
3. Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GiG.
4. Ghost in the Shell: Innocence as well as Solid State Society (movies).
5. Haibane Renmei.
