Ancient Pagan God of oral teachings worshiped in the northern parts of Scotland. In the first century B.C.E. her portfolio was expanded to incorporate written works as well.

Despite the persecution of Pagans over the past tow millenniums spall pockets of Pagans who worship Clare still exist in Scotland and in some communities in Ontario. Her name is usually invoked to bring good fortune when composing great works of writing or when blessing a new library.
