Politically-challenged right-winger who can't and won't accept the outcome of the '08 presidential election. Heavily influenced by right-wing talk-show hosts, they believe the end is near for America, unless they sweep far-right politicians into office. Tear-partiers usually vacillate between lung-swelling patriotism and abject despair, often in the same sentence.
