Someone who attempts to shortcut the learning process with $$$$ and in particular expensive lessons (in a vain attempt to be hip and cool). For example I learned to surf through long hours of trial and error. These kooks are buying there way in and are crowding/endangering our surf spots. Their lack of skills and understanding of rules of the lineup are resulting in beefs with the locals.
All these buy your way in types are showing up after reading the latest surf article in Men's Journal.
