GDF or The Grateful Dead Family... (the in crowd) hipster flash... most dankist crew of true individuals who have a core set of values focused on family, community and kindness who generally have spent time following the Greatest Band there ever was.. the Grateful Dead and applying the lyrics to their lives... . While on the road the family's who followed along developed a community where sharing and love were key components. A few shady greedy seeds hide amoungst the shining souls. Shakedown street is the market place where the Dead Family sell their goods. Generally handmade items clothing, jewelry, tapestries, blown glass, veggie wraps and phatty taddy casters and of course there is a variety of kind nuggets on tour.. When I think GDF I think... beautiful people, good times, great adventures, amazing nature and musical medicine... yay long live the GDF!

NFA- Not Fade Away! A term of endearment from the GDF The Grateful Dead Family... many nights the Grateful Dead would end with this song.. chanting "our love will not fade away" to their fans until the lights dimmed and the curtains closed.
