Azucena

Mexicans name their daughters Azucena. The first impression you will get upon meeting one of these creatures is that they are a snob, and a rude ass bitch, but when you get to know them you will come to find that they are sexy, confident, outgoing, and smart(although they don't like to admit it, they have blonde moments sometimes). The Azucena is a flower that represents kindness, innocence, purity, grace, and nobility. However, because azucenas have a very short life, they are also known to represent death which makes it bitter-sweet to have this name. Azucena is the Spanish name for a garden lily. Many varieties of lily are extremely toxic to cats, causing acute renal failure even in small amounts, this one, however, is completely harmless to animals or humans. Consider yourself lucky if you know a Mexican girl named Azucena.
Jose: ''Orale! did you see that sexy mamacita that just bought 2 carne asada tacos from me?!''

Paco: ''Yeah, she's caliente, but she didn't even look at me when she paid, what a snobby bitch!''

Pedro: ''Shut up, pendejos!!! That's an Azucena! She's actually very nice and sweet.''

Comes from the Latin and means admirable mother and/or teacher. Mexicans will name their daughters Escolastica usually after the child's grandma. They do it after asking God and the Virgen de Guadalupe for a huge favor and if God complies they will name their daughter Escolastica without giving it a second thought. An Escolastica will get made fun of until she develops at which time guys will say its a beautiful name as a poor excuse for a compliment. Don't name your child Escolastica because its a hard name for non-Mexicans to say and the name will be butchered over and over again.
Teacher: "John Smith"

John Smith: "Here!!"

Teacher:"...Now this one is a little hard, so I'm sorry if I don't say it right....Es-..UM..-c..."

Escolastica: "Its pronounced ES-CH-LUHS-TEE-KA, Mrs."
