You don't have to believe in a certain deity. You don't have to subscribe to a religion or attend group ceremonies. You don't have to believe in one thing and stick to it.
You can be atheist, agnostic, agnostic theist, agnostic atheist, a devout Christian, Buddhist, Muslim, Hindu, ANYTHING.
If you believe that all things/beings are connected in some way, that the cosmos manifest the pattern of life, that science, truth, and openness to possibilities are essential, that there is something more to animals than physical mass and that love is a force that we to this day don't know everything about but live in awe of what life has to offer, you are spiritual.
People will always try to tell you to pick a team. To cut the bullshit and stop saying your spiritual. Those people can also kiss your ass. And when they question your beliefs and intelligence, simply give them the okay to do so.
Spirituality: "Live and let live."
If you love a combination of spicy, sour, sweet, salty and bitter then you might LOVE Thai food.
If you have acid reflux, many food allergies (especially peanuts, coconut and fish), think Louisiana hot sauce is the hottest thing on Earth, aren't the gastronomically adventurous type and are sensitive to strong smells and flavors, you will probably not like Thai food.
Most common ingredients in Thai food: peanuts or peanut sauce, fish sauce (smells awful when cooking but tastes great and the smell does not remain that strong when done), lemongrass, coconut milk, bird's eye chili, cucumbers, lemons, curries, garlic, jasmine rice and apple banana (it's a special type of banana).
Try it. You might become addicted.
Good Thai food experience: "Dude, I had some tom ka gai and I don't want to eat anything else for the rest of my life."
Bad Thai food experience: "Oh yeah? Well my ass as a ring indented on it from sitting on the toilet for hours. Worst case of the shits ever."
(Most likely Thai won't give you the shits, so fear not!)
If someone doesn't think he/she has love in his/her life, he/she will say that it doesn't exist but is simply an evolution illusion serving the purpose of reproduction.
If someone is aware of the love in his/her life, he/she understands that love is something that goes beyond the connection between romantic partners. All things are loved: plants, insects, animals, water, air, fire, the ground we walk on, everything. You don't have to EVER have a romantic partner to know what love is because love inevitably connects people of various relationships: parent and child, person and pet, friends, co-workers, animals and nature.
In Navajo, when you love someone who you KNOW you will never stop unconditionally loving (particularly with family), you say: ayor anosh'ni.
If you do not open your eyes to love, you do not truly live.
"Do not pity the dead. Pity the living, and, above all those who live without love."
