A linking book is a book of roughly 300 to 500 pages that provides a bridge between ages, it allows people to transit distances that are not normally measurable (To the extent of alternate words.) Their destinations may or may not conform to the laws of physics that are understood. The book is always left behind when a person links through it.
"Have you written a linking book for your age yet?"
"No."
"You should, I would like to see it."
