Founded at Gremlin Graphics video game company in the mid 1990s. Actually originated as an abbreviation of the term "money's worth". Oft coined by said originator Matt "Swuth" Donkin. The term began life describing taking apart a bigger object to make use of its smaller parts. Hence, getting your "money's worth". In the Yorkshire accent worth becomes wuth, munny's wuth being the new way! That was shortened to swuth over years. Describing electrical pieces smaller than an arm, of any variety.
"Fetch us that piece of swuth tha borrud"
"Has that got that swuth a gin thi?"
"A left mi wallet in't swuth room"
