Perfect way to describe modern day episodes of The Simpsons. The series was hilarious and fantastic in the ninties but now is totally unfunny and unwatchable. The show's main writers started being replaced 2001-03 and the series started to show signs of low-to-no quality. The movie in 2007 was the only funny thing done since the show started to die. Now the show can be compared to a sick animal that cannot continue living and needs to be put down.
I get so bored when I'm sick I find myself watching The Shitsons a lot.

The first Monday in September. Made to honor the working men and women in the United States, though mainly known for cookouts, parades, days off from work and school (which is usually just beginning) and being the official last day of summer (while the last day is technically Sept. 20, almost every summer related activity shuts down after Labor Day).
Me and my girlfriend had a killer Labor Day weekend. Now I'm depressed knowing I have to go back to work and that Autumn is right around the corner.

The day after Thanksgiving and official start of the Christmas shopping season. When stores open anytime in between midnight and 5 AM and set everything on sale. To promote the sale, a mass amount of advertising is used, causing everyone to forget their is a month until Christmas so they go to hell and back to get all their holiday shopping out of the way one day not even in the month of the holiday.
I haven't slept in almost 50 hours because my mom shoved us all in the car immediately after Thanksgiving dinner and made us go to Black Friday sales all damn day.

Contrary to what most people are saying on this site, LP are actually a good group. Yes they aren't as good as other Nu-Metal bands like Korn and Disturbed (I wouldn't even consider them Nu-Metal or any kind of Metal music really, more like straight up Rap Rock) but they are still a very creative, talented band that's a helluva lot better than most Rap/Pop crap on the radio today.
Linkin Park is not great, but still good. Too many people are just closed minded.

The excellent debut album by Avenged Sevenfold, released in 2001 by Good Life Records and re-released by Hopeless Records the next year. This is the only album to feature original bassist Dameon Ash, featured on both versions. The original also doesn't feature lead guitarist Synyster Gates while the re-release does. The most noted track from the album is "Warmness on the Soul". This album also contains the most screaming vocals by M. Shadows.
Mark is a huge sevenfold fan, but unfortunatly he lacks a copy of Sounding the Seventh Trumpet.

Chicago's American League and south side MLB team (as opposed to the Cubs, who play on the North Side). Often regarded as the "second team of the second city" in spite of:

*More world series titles (three to the Cubs' two) as well as the advantage of actually having won a title in the last 100 (or rather 105) years.

*A statistically better record over the last 25 years (i.e. more winning seasons than losing)

*A newer, nicer stadium that helps provide a happy, fun, comfortable ballgame experience (Wrigley may have more history and outer beauty, but it's a different story inside the ballpark)

*Fans who, though not above taunting and harassing, will actually respect players and fans of the opposing team (unlike Cubs fans, who enjoy turning aggressive on innocent fans and players when things don't go their way)
When the White Sox lose, they admit it was the result of bad playing by their team or much better playing by the other, and look to build a better team from that point regardless.

When the Cubs lose, they blame some ridiculous "curse" or even one of their own fans and let yet another defeat become more and more part of the team's history and daily life

March 9, 1978-December 12, 1997, Brian Deneke was a Punk Rocker from Amarillo, TX, who was murdered by jock Dustin Camp due to Deneke's Punk Rock look. Camp only received Ten years probation and a $10,000 fine (though did serve brief prison time for violating the terms of his probation). The killing raised questions as to how tolerant Amarillo really is.
Brian Deneke was a good kid who was just living his life the way he wanted to. Dustin Camp is a miserable piece of shit who should be behind bars for the next 5 decades.

RIP Brian Theodore Deneke.
