A maneuver, similar to the "Pound It
" maneuver, that is performed while two people are walking in opposite directions. Rather than full fist contact, the quarter pounder involves each person grazing the edge (about one quarter) of each other's fist with his/her own and following through with the swing, therefore not interrupting the walking momentum of either individual. The arm movement of the quarter pounder analogizes more to that of a hook, whereas the standard "Pound It" maneuver takes on the appearance of a jab.
We didn't feel like stopping to say hi, so we walked past with a quarter pounder and peaced.
