Meat put on a stick, deep fried or grilled. Typically lamb, but also can be beef or deer... or really anything. Suppose could use squirrel. Sprinkle with garlic salt. Served with soda crackers. Sold by the dozen or half dozen. Typical bar or fair food.
Dude, I ate like 2 dozen chislic at the fair this year... Delish!
