It is Phase IV of the U.S. Army's "Q" course, during which a 12 to 15 man Operational Detachment Alpha team has to complete a grueling unconventional warfare scenario that encompasses all that they have learned. Robin Sage exercises are conducted four times a year. The training occurs on both public and private land, encompassing 10 counties and nearly 4,500 square miles, an area which is called "The People's Republic of Pineland."
