Used as a slang in Norway for a small joint
or shall i say a roll-up sigarette but its content is not only tobacco, but mixed with herbs like pot, hashish or other substances avaiable.
With "small" i mean the size of one sigarette, or to be more clear: one roll-up paper by big ben
or other brands, filled with the mix and rolled-up.
The reason ppl in Norway use this word is obvious, en liten en
is small in size, look like an ordinary sigarette and the word does'nt call any attention from ppl around besided those who smoke themselves(and thats usually no problem). This is of course because smoking hashish/pot or equal substances is not legal in Norway, and ppl have to hide it to avoid attention, or in the worst case get caught in action or carrying it.
Norwegian = N
English = E
The reason i translate to english is to show you non-scandinavians how this slang-word is used(i know it looks lame).
N: "Gidder du å mekke en liten en
E: "Do you mind rolling up en liten en
N: "Jeg er hypp på en røykings
, men skal på jobb i mårra. Holder med en liten en
E: "Im eager to smoke, but have to get up early for job tomorrow. Its sufficient with en liten en
N: "Ah, digg med en liten en
E: "Ah, pleasent smoking this en liten en
